About Hannah

Hannah is a Southern writer and creator, born and raised in Mississippi and now based in the Pacific Northwest. Her work blends progressive political values with a love for Southern design, decorating, and style.

Hannah’s passion for art and social change began early. She studied art history, women’s studies, and U.S. social movements at the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee. This mix of art, design, and politics shapes her creative work and online community.

In the spring of 2025, Hannah gained traction on TikTok by sharing her love for Southern culture and decorating while speaking openly about her progressive values. Her voice resonated with thousands of like-minded Southerners looking for a space to connect, and her following quickly grew to over 55,000.

Hannah is the founder of Ladies League, a newsletter and private online community for progressive ladies. League members gain access to the book club, Slack channels filled with conversations about politics, pop culture, vintage and thrift finds, and shared creative projects. Through the Ladies League, Hannah strives to cultivate a space for connection, curiosity, and conversation among design and style-minded progressives.

When she’s not creating online, Hannah spends time with her family—sipping natural wine or bubble tea, taking long walks through their Portland neighborhood, traveling to New Orleans or Fairhope, Alabama, hosting dinner parties, scouring estate sales, and decorating her home.
